To celebrate Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, Pokémon Shanghai is expanding its “Dream Painting” (绘梦点睛) series with the new 30th Anniversary Pikachu Figure Set. The fourth release in the series transforms 13 of the 30 Pikachu illustrations featured in the Simplified Chinese Pokémon TCG expansion “30th Anniversary Celebration” (30周年庆典) into three-dimensional figures. Each blind box randomly includes one Pikachu figure, one matching foil Pikachu card and one six-card 30th Anniversary Celebration booster pack. Priced at RMB 88, the set is scheduled for release on September 16, 2026.
This anniversary release places Pikachu at the center of the entire lineup. Thirteen artworks have been selected from the 30 Pikachu cards created by different illustrators for the 30th Anniversary Celebration expansion, with each illustration recreated as a collectible figure. The complete assortment consists of 12 standard designs and one secret design. Eight of the standard figures have been revealed so far, while the remaining designs will be unveiled at a later date. Each figure comes with a foil Pikachu card featuring the corresponding artwork, allowing collectors to display the card and figure together on the included stand and compare the original two-dimensional illustration with its three-dimensional interpretation. The announced production ratio between the standard figures and the secret figure is 143:1. Each box also includes one 30th Anniversary Celebration booster pack, extending the anniversary theme across both figure and card collecting.
