South Korean high-end statue maker JND Studios is launching a new 1/6 collectible statue based on the film Justice League as part of its new 1/6 Hyperreal Movie Statue Series. The Wonder Woman statue is priced at $1,099, with its shipping date still to be announced.
The new 1/6 Hyperreal Movie Statue Series, or 1/6 HMS, brings the core of JND Studios’ acclaimed 1/3 HMS line down to a more compact scale while retaining the same level of realism and screen-accurate character presence.
The Wonder Woman head sculpt uses silicone to recreate the refined features of actress Gal Gadot, with an exceptionally detailed skin texture. A soft-skin neck articulation allows the head to be repositioned, while the eyes use the movable glass-eye system previously praised in KOJUN WORKS releases. The gaze can be adjusted with a tool, and the character’s signature long curls are individually rooted strand by strand for an exceptionally lifelike finish.
The body also makes extensive use of premium silicone, bringing an unprecedented sense of realism to the torso, arms and thighs. The costume combines ABS, polystone and other materials, with detailed sculpting on the chest armor, leather skirt and creases in the combat boots. Her sword is made from die-cast alloy to reproduce the look and weight of real metal. The diorama base is inspired by the final battle against Steppenwolf, and JND says the final production version will be designed to stand independently when removed from the base.
