BANDAI Japan recently announced its brand-new electric 4WD battle vehicle IP, "Baraba Ride," and unveiled the first three products in the series: "BR-01 Storm Falcon," "BR-02 Lash Stallion," and "BR-03 Fury Lizard." These are slated for release on September 19, 2026!
"Baraba Ride" is an exciting new battle toy series centered around the concept of "vehicle x destruction." Players can freely customize their battle machines with various armaments, charge them up, and launch them to tear apart opponents! Each vehicle features three weak points; upon impact, the exterior armor and wheels will spectacularly "fall apart" (バラバラ) and disassemble, living up to the series' name. A dedicated arena disc has also been released for the series. Furthermore, BANDAI will host an exclusive early access event at the "CoroCoro Soul Festival in TOKYO Toy Show 2026," taking place from August 29 to August 30, 2026. Attendees will have the chance to test out all three initial products. Additionally, the "BR-01 Storm Falcon," "BR-02 Lash Stallion," and the "BARABARIDE TOOL BR-10 FOLD COLOSSEUM" will be available for early purchase at a special limited-time price of 1,650 JPY and 3,300 JPY (tax included), respectively!
The "BR-03 Fury Lizard" is powered by three AA batteries and sports a striking green and silver color scheme. Its body comprises four main components: the cowl, chassis, bumper, and tires. A distinctive feature of the Fury Lizard's armor is its rear thruster decoration, which contributes to a heavy, rear-weighted design. It utilizes the balanced Alpha chassis, allowing for extensive customization to suit various battle strategies. The bumper is equipped with two missile pod-shaped weapons, designed to powerfully flip opponents' weak points. The large C36 tires elevate the vehicle's height and feature a three-claw design, enabling both offensive attacks on opponents' weak points and the ability to bounce off surfaces, while also enhancing grip for superior dash performance. As a special bonus, the first production run will include limited-edition body stickers (note: these stickers will not be distributed at the "CoroCoro Soul Festival in TOKYO Toy Show 2026" event).
