Leading American toy manufacturer Hasbro's Marvel Legends 6-inch action figure line is expanding with a new release from the animated series "X-Men '97"—the Beast 6-inch action figure. This new collectible is priced at $39.99 USD and is slated for release in November 2026!
Beast, whose real name is Henry Philip "Hank" McCoy, made his debut in the first issue of "Uncanny X-Men," released in September 1963. Born with a unique physique due to his father's prolonged exposure to radiation while working at a nuclear power plant, Hank later transformed into the iconic blue-furred Beast after an accidental encounter with an unfinished serum he was developing. He was subsequently invited by Professor X to join the X-Men.
This new Beast figure stands approximately 15 cm (6 inches) tall, meticulously sculpted to reflect his appearance in "X-Men '97." The sculpt showcases his wild, lean muscular physique, while the paint application uses saturated flat blue tones to accurately capture the animated series' color palette. For articulation, the figure features butterfly joints at the shoulders, standard double-jointed elbows and knees, and thigh swivel joints. Accessories include a pair of open-palm alternate hands, an alternate roaring head sculpt, goggles, and a tech backpack. These accessories, combined with the figure's flexible articulation, allow collectors to recreate various dynamic poses from the show. The overall color scheme and design are incredibly faithful to the source material, promising an exciting play experience!
