Bandai Candy, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest addition to its lineup: the "Mobile Suit Gundam Biscuit 2," slated for an April 2027 release and based on the classic "Mobile Suit Gundam" anime series.
The "Mobile Suit Gundam Biscuit" series features round butter cookies adorned with classic Gundam character designs. However, the real draw isn't the cookies themselves, but the included plastic mini-Gundam models. Each mobile suit boasts an adorable Super Deformed (SD) style, assembled from a minimal number of parts. Despite their tiny 2.5 cm height, these figures feature intricate part separation, pre-painted details, and accurately reproduce the mobile suit's colors. They also come with their signature weapon accessories.
This latest second wave features five iconic mobile suits from the original "Mobile Suit Gundam" series: G-3 Gundam, Dom, High Mobility Type Zaku II, Char's Custom Dom, and Braw Bro. Each figure meticulously recreates the mobile suit's distinctive design and armaments, with articulated shoulders and waists. Weapons like the Hyper Bazooka, Giant Bazooka, shields, Heat Hawks, and Zaku Machine Guns are interchangeable. Notably, the Braw Bro set also includes parts to recreate a Commander Type Zaku antenna, a Zaku Bazooka, and a Heat Hawk.
