Bandai Candy, the confectionery toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest third installment in its "Bitlot Gundam" series. These block-figure style candy toys, based on the "Mobile Suit Gundam" universe, are slated for release in January 2027.
The "Bitlot Gundam" candy toy series features articulated block-style figures, each standing approximately 6cm tall. They bring characters and Mobile Suits from "Mobile Suit Gundam" to life with a unique super-deformed proportion. Each figure boasts around 10 points of articulation, allowing for neck and limb rotation. Furthermore, some characters include swappable parts and alternate forms through part separation.
The latest "Bitlot Gundam 3" lineup will feature two iconic characters from the original "Mobile Suit Gundam": Char Aznable, who sought revenge against the Zabi family, and the tragic Newtype girl, Lalah Sune. Additionally, three Zeon Mobile Suits will be included: the Dom, Char's Custom Gelgoog, and the Gyan.
1. Dom
Comes equipped with weapons such as a Heat Saber and Giant Bazooka. Its mono-eye camera also features articulation.
2. Char's Custom Gelgoog
Includes weapons like a Beam Rifle, Beam Naginata, and Shield. The mono-eye camera is articulated.
3. Gyan
Equipped with a Beam Saber and Missile Shield. Its mono-eye camera also features articulation.
4. Lalah Sune
Features a head-swapping mechanism, allowing for two different looks: with or without her helmet.
5. Char Aznable
Includes a head-swapping mechanism to display him with or without his mask and helmet.
