From Japan's TAKARA TOMY company, the T-ARTS toy brand is launching a new "SR+" capsule toy series, known for its exceptional anatomical sculpting and substantial size. Their latest release, "SR+ Silent Hill 2" capsule toys, draws inspiration from the terrifying video game "Silent Hill 2"! Each capsule will retail for 500 JPY, with a scheduled release in late August 2026.
The SR+ (Super Real+) series is dedicated to thoroughly researching character anatomy and physique, meticulously considering muscle movement and joint articulation during modeling. This approach results in mini-figures that are more faithful to the characters' forms and boast greater realism. This new "SR+ Silent Hill 2" capsule toy collection features four iconic characters: "Pyramid Head," "Lying Figure," "Mannequin" (including extra accessories), and "Bubble Head Nurse." The exquisite sculpting and paintwork perfectly recreate the immersive atmosphere of the game. Plus, the spear accessory included with the Mannequin can be swapped with Pyramid Head's Great Knife – how cool is that!
