Bandai Candy, a division of Bandai Co., Ltd.'s Shokugan business, is set to launch the latest wave of its popular "ChocoSap" candy toy series. This new release, titled "ChocoSap Chiikawa 2" chocolate eggs, will feature characters from the highly popular "Chiikawa" franchise. Each box will retail for 385 JPY and is slated for release in November 2026.
The "CHOCO SAP" series is built around the delightful concept of delicious treats combined with the exciting surprise of not knowing what's inside. These gashapon-style chocolate spheres, crafted from both milk and white chocolate, measure approximately 52mm in diameter. Hidden within each sphere is a small figure, ranging from 45mm to 55mm, meticulously sculpted with intricate details and vibrant colors achieved through transfer printing technology. Each figure also comes with its own dedicated display stand. This rich and diverse lineup promises collectors the thrill of discovering a random new toy with every purchase.
The upcoming "ChocoSap Chiikawa 2" collection boasts a total of 14 standard figures plus one secret chase figure. The lineup includes beloved characters such as Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, Momonga, Kurimanju (the one banned from alcohol), Otter, Shisa, That Kid, and Furuhon'ya. Additionally, fans can look forward to special scene figures like Hachiware & Chiikawa enjoying drinks, Whipped Cream Hachiware, Chiikawa, the three little ones in mushroom form, and Black Cat Hachiware, Chiikawa, and Usagi. Each figure is paired with various accessories and dialogue cards, allowing collectors to recreate classic scenes from the series.
