MEDICOM TOY's popular MAFEX action figure line has unveiled two new DC Comics "The Death of Superman" themed figures. This article focuses on the "No.325 Doomsday" action figure, priced at 14,080 JPY, with an estimated release in June 2027!

Doomsday first appeared in 1992's "Superman: Man of Steel" #17. He is an ancient Kryptonian biological weapon, possessing strength and defense far surpassing Superman's. His terrifying abilities include infinite evolution and resurrection, making him immune to previous causes of death upon revival, solidifying his status as Superman's most lethal adversary.

This "Doomsday (The Death of Superman)" action figure meticulously recreates his appearance from "Superman" #75. Standing approximately 18.5 cm tall, the figure captures his imposing physique with powerfully sculpted musculature. The savage spikes on his shoulders, knuckles, and chin are intricately reproduced, as are the eye-obscuring spikes and long hair. Interestingly, from a distance, the eye area gives off an unexpected "girly eyelash" effect, creating a fun contrast!

Accessories include a roaring alternate head sculpt, multiple interchangeable hand parts, and a hard-material damaged Superman cape, allowing collectors to recreate his iconic pose holding the tattered cape. Furthermore, this figure can be displayed alongside the concurrently released Superman to vividly recreate their epic, blood-soaked battle!
