GOOD SMILE COMPANY's MECHA SMILE brand, known for its mechanical-themed finished transforming toy line "THE GATTAI", has announced a second production run for the popular "Seven Changer" from "The Brave Fighter of Legend Da-Garn". Originally released in September 2024, this highly anticipated re-release is slated to ship in January 2027.
Seven Changer is a Brave Robot who awakened on the planet Valda Star after its destruction by Orbos. Driven by revenge, he infiltrated the Orbos army as a mercenary, seeking information on "Energy Release Points." During this time, he even became an adversary to Da-Garn and the Earth Defense Force. Seven Changer possesses formidable combat capabilities on his own, equipped with a diverse arsenal including swords, shurikens, and cannons throughout his body. Thanks to his unique "transformation" ability, he can freely shift between seven forms: Robot, Fighter Jet, Submarine, Trailer, Tank, Cheetah, and Griffin, adapting to land, sea, air, and even space.
"THE GATTAI Seven Changer" is crafted to the same scale as the previously released "THE GATTAI Great Da-Garn GX". In its robot form, Seven Changer stands approximately 25.5 cm tall, boasting a stylish body proportion and articulated design that perfectly captures its sharp head sculpt and intricate track details on its arms. All joints throughout the body are fully posable, with features like pull-out shoulder joints expanding the range of motion, granting the robot form high articulation. This allows for dynamic combat poses when paired with his dedicated weapon, the "Changer Sword," and three interchangeable hand parts.
Thanks to the flexible articulation in each section, Seven Changer's most distinctive feature—its "seven forms" transformation mechanism—is fully realized. This product perfectly reproduces all seven forms—Robot, Jet, Submarine, Container Truck, Tank, Jaguar, and Griffin—without the need for any part swapping. Each transformation step reveals the clever engineering hidden within the figure, with every form offering unique playability. Unused parts like the "Changer Sword" and interchangeable hands can be stored on the dedicated display stand when Seven Changer is in any form other than its robot mode.
