Max Factory, the renowned Japanese figure manufacturer, has announced the latest addition to their popular 1/12 scale figma action figure line: the figma Stocking Angel Ver. from the hit anime "NEW PANTY AND STOCKING." This new figure is slated for release in July 2027!
"NEW PANTY AND STOCKING" is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2010 original anime "Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt," directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi. The series maintains the distinctive art style of its predecessor, blending American animation aesthetics with Japanese influences, and is known for its raunchy humor, adult themes, and dark comedy. The story follows the angel sisters Panty and Stocking, who are banished from Heaven due to their misconduct. They arrive in Daten City to exorcise evil spirits born from human desires, leading to a bizarre daily life filled with lewd and hilarious escapades.
The figma Stocking Angel Ver. stands approximately 12 cm tall and features her angelic form. This figure captures the anime's signature American-style chibi proportions, a relatively rare sight in the figma line. Compared to her sister Panty, Stocking's outfit is predominantly blue and white striped, with silver metallic accessories. The figure incorporates figma's unique joint design throughout, allowing for a wide range of dynamic combat poses. She comes with four interchangeable face plates: a "serious face," an "angry face," a "surprised face," and a "winking face." Accessories include the twin blades "Stripe I&II," which transform from her socks, and "interchangeable bare foot parts" to depict her without socks. Notably, among the included hand parts is a rarely seen "middle finger hand," perfect for pairing with the concurrently released figma Panty Angel Ver.! A figma Panty & Stocking Angel Ver. Set is also available!
