BANDAI HOBBY, a character model kit brand from Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, revealed several exciting new additions to its "30 MINUTES PREFERENCE" series during tonight's "30ML New Product Announcement Event." The event notably announced the commercialization of a "30MP Rei Ayanami (School Uniform Ver.)" model kit.
The "30 MINUTES PREFERENCE" series leverages the extensive experience and technology developed under the "30 MINUTES LABEL" to acquire licenses for various external IPs and franchises. This enables the line to release model kits of popular characters, allowing fans to build their beloved figures. Adding to the excitement, a "30MP Kikuri Hiroi" model kit has also been announced for commercialization.
During the announcement event, two new model kits from the "Ghost in the Shell" anime were previewed: "Motoko Kusanagi" and "Fuchikoma," both scheduled for a December 2026 release. The event also confirmed the commercialization of "Rei Ayanami (School Uniform Ver.)" from "Rebuild of Evangelion" and "Kikuri Hiroi" from "Bocchi the Rock!". Prototypes for these two highly anticipated characters are expected to be showcased at the upcoming "All Japan Model & Hobby Show."
