Japan's MegaHouse, under its high-end collectible figure series for "One Piece," "Portrait.Of.Pirates (P.O.P)," has officially unveiled the new "SA-MAXIMUM Monkey D. Luffy Gear Fourth 'Boundman' 10th LIMITED Ver." The colored prototype was first showcased at "ONE PIECE DAY’26." This release commemorates the 15th anniversary of the MAXIMUM series and the 10th anniversary of the original "Boundman" figure, featuring a re-tuned color application for the classic sculpt. With a suggested retail price of 27,500 JPY (tax included), pre-orders are set to open on August 28, 2026, with a release scheduled for late March 2027.
The original SA-MAXIMUM Monkey D. Luffy Gear Fourth 'Boundman' was first released in 2017, marking the inaugural product after the MAXIMUM series' revival. This iconic P.O.P Luffy sculpt captures Luffy's massive, inflated physique after activating Gear Fourth "Boundman," complete with a powerful, Kongo Rikishi-like stance, limbs hardened by Busoshoku Haki (Armament Haki), and dynamic steam effects swirling around his body. It quickly became a classic three-dimensional representation of Luffy within the P.O.P lineup.
This 10th LIMITED Ver. doesn't introduce a new battle pose; instead, its primary focus is on an updated color application. MegaHouse has applied the extensive coloring techniques accumulated over the years within the MAXIMUM series to this original sculpt. Both the hardened Busoshoku Haki on his arms and legs and the steam effects enveloping his entire body have received a re-tuned color treatment, bringing this nearly decade-old "Boundman" figure back into the spotlight.
