Japanese capsule toy brand Kitan Club is launching its brand-new "CAPWATCH" series, ingeniously combining gashapon with functional watches. For its inaugural collaboration, Kitan Club partners with QBB's long-standing "Baby Cheese" line, directly incorporating the iconic stick packaging onto the watch straps. Even the "Keep Refrigerated" label is meticulously integrated into the design details. The full series features 6 different designs, each priced at 500 JPY per capsule, and is slated for release on August 28, 2026.

QBB Baby Cheese, produced by Japan's Rokko Butter, is a long-selling cheese series renowned for its distinctive slender packaging, which typically features four cheese blocks arranged vertically. The new "CAPWATCH" line cleverly leverages this unique characteristic, printing the familiar packaging artwork along the entire watch strap. When worn on the wrist, it looks as if an entire stick of Baby Cheese is wrapped around your arm. The watch strap is made from soft silicone, and these aren't just food-themed accessories; they are fully functional timepieces. Beyond wearing them on your wrist, you can also clip them onto tote bags or backpack straps. Should the battery run out, it can be replaced by a specialized watch repair shop.

The complete series offers six varieties: "Original Flavor," "Almond," "Camembert," "Cream Cheese," "Black Pepper," and "Iron-fortified." Each design faithfully reproduces the packaging of its respective flavor, and even the strap keeper features the "Keep Refrigerated" mark. This collection transforms the everyday Baby Cheese packaging you see in your fridge into a stylish, wearable watch you can take anywhere.
