Max Factory, the renowned Japanese model manufacturer, is set to release the latest addition to its popular "figma" articulated figure series: the "figma Panty: Angel Ver." from the hit anime "NEW PANTY AND STOCKING." This new figure is scheduled for release in July 2027!
"NEW PANTY AND STOCKING" is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2010 original anime "Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt," directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi. The series maintains its distinctive art style, blending American animation aesthetics with Japanese influences, and is known for its raunchy, adult themes and dark humor. The story follows the angelic sisters Panty and Stocking, who, after being expelled from Heaven for their misconduct, arrive in Daten City to exorcise ghosts born from human desires, leading to a bizarre daily life filled with lewdness and comedy.
The "figma Panty: Angel Ver." stands approximately 12cm tall, capturing her angelic form. This figure features the character's signature American-style chibi proportions, a relatively uncommon sight within the figma line. Max Factory has meticulously recreated her white outfit with golden metallic accents using precise part separation and paintwork. The figure boasts figma's unique articulation system, allowing for a wide range of dynamic combat poses.
