SUPER7, the American toy manufacturer, is expanding its popular 3.75-inch "ReAction" line with the new "ReAction+" series, featuring classic sci-fi film "Back to the Future" characters. The latest additions are the "Marty McFly (2015)" and "Doc Emmett Brown" 3.75-inch action figures, each priced at $25 USD and now available for order on the official SUPER7 website!
The "ReAction+" series enhances the original ReAction 3.75-inch figures, which typically feature five points of articulation at the head, shoulders, and hips. This new line adds articulation at the elbows and knees. It employs the classic O-Ring construction method, a technique widely used in 1980s 3.75-inch action figures, where elastic rubber rings secure the figure's legs and torso. This design not only ensures structural stability but also significantly increases the range of motion and overall playability.
These new Marty and Doc figures capture their iconic looks from "Back to the Future Part II," specifically their attire from their trip to Hill Valley in 2015, as seen in the 1989 film. The sculpt meticulously recreates details such as Marty's self-lacing jacket and Nike Air Mags, alongside Doc's distinctive yellow trench coat and goggles. Both action figures boast 12 points of articulation, with the shoulders upgraded from single-direction joints to hinged joints that allow for outward movement. This enhanced articulation, combined with classic accessories like Marty's hoverboard and the "Marty Jr. Arrested" newspaper, allows collectors to recreate memorable scenes from the film. The cardback packaging itself is a nostalgic treat, featuring the classic "Back to the Future" logo and the fiery tire tracks left by the speeding DeLorean Time Machine, making these figures perfect for display even unopened.
