Japanese capsule toy maker Kitan Club (KITAN CLUB) is launching a charming new product featuring popular Sanrio characters: the "PUTITTO Sanrio Characters Strawberry Milk Flocked Cup Edge Figure" capsule toy series. Each gashapon will retail for 400 JPY and is slated for release in late August 2026.
The beloved Sanrio characters are finally joining the "PUTITTO" series, known for its figures designed to perch playfully on the edge of cups! This "PUTITTO Sanrio Characters Strawberry Milk Flocked Cup Edge Figure" collection reimagines the popular characters in a soft, strawberry milk-inspired pink color palette. The lineup includes Pochacco, Hangyodon, My Melody, Kuromi, and Tuxedosam, offering five distinct styles.
Standing approximately 3 to 5 cm tall, these figures are intricately sculpted to capture the characters in various dynamic poses—sitting directly, grasping the cup edge, or even using accessories like candy or ladders for support. The overall aesthetic features a soothing pink and white color scheme. A key highlight is the flocking technique applied to each figure, providing a soft, velvety texture and a gentle visual appeal. They are incredibly cute, whether you're holding them in your hand or displaying them on your cup!
