Japanese BANDAI SPIRITS recently announced on their official X account that several new Gundam series products, including "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS x Gundam hololive," "ABSOLUTE ACT," and "METAL STRUCTURE," will be revealed on August 27th (Thursday).
Among the teased items, the "METAL STRUCTURE" announcement is undoubtedly drawing the most attention. Many fans are speculating whether this will finally bring further news about the RX-178 Gundam Mk-II, which was first revealed in 2024 but has yet to be released. The new "ABSOLUTE ACT" series was previously mentioned in late July during the tease of the Strike Freedom Gundam, with a full announcement promised for August. As for the "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS x Gundam hololive" collaboration, eagle-eyed fans had already noticed that many of the previously announced collaboration mobile suits were based on existing METAL ROBOT SPIRITS releases, leading to strong belief that their official commercialization will be announced this time.
