M.I.C. Co., Ltd., a Japanese company known for its original toy brand "DIG," has officially announced a new addition to its "DIGSTA" series: a pre-painted figure of Ryo Yamada from the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!". This figure is priced at 12,100 JPY and is slated for release on January 31, 2027.
Ryo Yamada, the bassist for the Kessoku Band, attends Shimokitazawa High School alongside Nijika Ijichi and was the second member Hitori Gotoh met. Ryo is known for her cool and collected demeanor, often appearing expressionless. She enjoys teasing others and is frequently seen as eccentric, often borrowing money with various excuses and never paying it back. Despite this, she possesses excellent musical knowledge and taste, handling the band's songwriting duties, making her a truly talented individual.
This DIGSTA Ryo Yamada figure stands approximately 18.5 cm tall. It recreates her maid outfit from the Shuka Festival scene in episode 11 of the anime, though with a slightly different design than what was shown on screen. The sculpting exquisitely captures the mature and understated style of her black high-neck shirt and the intricate pleats of her maid apron. Her calm expression and crossed-arm pose create an interesting contrast between her cool personality and the maid attire. Pre-ordering directly from the official website will include an exclusive bonus "smirking" face part, offering even more display options. This figure can also be displayed alongside the previously released Hitori Gotoh and Nijika Ijichi figures, building anticipation for Ikuyo Kita to complete the maid-outfitted Kessoku Band!
