BANDAI SPIRITS' model kit brand, BANDAI HOBBY, has announced that the "Latest! Gunpla Info Bureau" special program, originally scheduled to broadcast on August 25th at 8:00 PM JST, has been postponed. The delay is due to network issues affecting the upload. The company is currently working to resolve the problem with the goal of completing the upload today, and the exact broadcast time will be announced later on their official X account.
The "Latest! Gunpla Info Bureau" was set to be a special program focused on Gunpla, hosted by Genki Okawa and featuring Japanese actress Akari Akase, who is active in the cosplay scene, as a guest. The show was expected to unveil various activities and product information centered around Gunpla, including a new item in the high-end "MGEX" (Master Grade Extreme) series, which would have been the first in four years. However, the program was not only absent from the official YouTube channel's schedule but the postponement announcement itself came after the scheduled broadcast time.
However, disappointed Gundam fans need not despair. BANDAI HOBBY will also be revealing its "HOBBY NEW ITEM INFO." tomorrow, August 26th, bringing news on multiple new model kits set for release between January and March 2027. It's possible that the Gunpla new product information that couldn't be revealed tonight will be included in tomorrow's announcement.
