BANDAI SPIRITS' prize figure brand, BANPRESTO, is launching a new robot-themed figure series called "Limit Break". The latest entry in the lineup, the "Strike Gundam" from the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED", is slated for release on September 25, 2026.
The mobile suit piloted by protagonist Kira Yamato, the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam, was the last of the five "G-Weapons" developed by the Earth Alliance. Its lightweight armor provides enhanced flexibility and exceptional human-like mobility, though it relies heavily on its "Phase Shift Armor" to defend against ballistic and impact damage. The versatile "Striker Pack System" allows the Strike Gundam to swap between configurations such as the "Aile Striker", "Sword Striker", and "Launcher Striker" packs, enabling it to adapt to various missions and battlefields for multi-role combat.
The "Limit Break Strike Gundam" is a large-scale, pre-painted finished model standing approximately 28 cm tall. It features a refined sculpt based on its anime design, showcasing sharp, hard-edged details that convey a robust mechanical feel, and accurately reproduces the mobile suit's various color schemes. While it does not include articulated joints, its impressive size makes it a striking display piece.
