Last month, British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen made a surprise announcement: he had secretly completed filming on "Ali G: Who Iz I?", the official sequel to his early career breakout film, "Ali G Indahouse". Today, Baron Cohen quickly followed up by releasing the first trailer and a teaser poster (pictured below).
This film marks Baron Cohen's directorial debut, where he also serves as writer and star. Unlike the first installment, which followed a traditional narrative, this sequel adopts a mockumentary style, more akin to the spin-off television series "Da Ali G Show". Audiences can expect extensive improvised segments featuring interactions with unsuspecting members of the public, similar to Baron Cohen's acclaimed "Borat" series.
