Mattel Brick Shop, the building-block brand from American toy giant Mattel, is teaming up with Hot Wheels for a new 2026 release: the JTM59 ’90 Acura NSX. Based on the same 1:16-scale design as 2025’s red JFT17 edition, the new set gives the legendary Japanese sports car a striking yellow finish. The 877-piece set is scheduled for release in October 2026, with pricing yet to be announced.

The yellow edition carries over the core design of the previous red NSX. Builders can choose between left- and right-hand-drive configurations and swap the license plates to recreate either the North American Acura or Japanese Honda version. Interactive features include opening doors and classic pop-up headlights, along with functional steering. The set also comes with extra customization parts, decals, and metal components, allowing collectors to build a factory-style NSX or personalize it to their liking.

Also included is a matching yellow 1:64-scale Hot Wheels die-cast car and a metal signature plate, letting collectors display the 1:16-scale brick-built model alongside its miniature counterpart. For fans who already own the 2025 red edition, the biggest change here is the far more eye-catching yellow body.
