BANDAI SPIRITS' BANDAI HOBBY model kit brand has officially revealed full details on the latest entry in its MGSD (MASTER GRADE SD) line, which brings Master Grade engineering to compact SD Gundam proportions. Based on "Mobile Suit Gundam 00," the new MGSD 00 Raiser is scheduled for release in March 2027.
GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser is the mobile suit created by docking the 00 Gundam with the 0 Raiser, allowing its Twin Drive System to unleash the machine's full potential. Activating TRANS-AM generates more than seven times the normal volume of high-density GN particles, dramatically increasing the suit's mobility. It can also trigger Quantization, a phenomenon that seemingly makes the machine vanish by interfering with the flow of time, and unleash the massive Raiser Sword, which can cleave warships and satellite weapons in a single strike.
MGSD 00 Raiser takes advantage of Bandai's latest color-separation and parts-engineering technology to pack complete, intricately detailed inner frames for both the 00 Gundam and 0 Raiser into its compact SD proportions. The kit also features densely sculpted exterior armor, extensive articulation, and a fully recreated docking system. Select components use Realistic Metallic Gloss Injection to produce a convincing metallic finish, while clear parts throughout the kit—including the twin-eye cameras—incorporate Reflection Cut technology to create a luminous appearance.
One of the kit's standout features is an original interlocking rotation gimmick built into the shoulder-mounted GN Drives. Rotating the cone-shaped GN Drive components moves the surrounding armor panels in tandem, opening them to expose the clear internal parts. Circular clear components across the body, including the GN Condensers, also feature finely rendered lettering for an added layer of mechanical detail.
The weapon loadout includes GN Beam Sabers, a GN Shield, GN Sword IIs, and the GN Sword III. The kit recreates the connection mechanism between the GN Sword IIs and shield, while dedicated beam effect parts for the GN Sword IIs and GN Sword III let builders recreate the 00 Raiser's spectacular Raiser Sword attack pose.
