From BANDAI HOBBY, the model kit brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, comes the latest addition to the "FULL MECHANICS" Gunpla series, known for its high-density detailing and ease of assembly. The company has officially unveiled detailed information for the "Graze Ein" from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans," scheduled for release in January 2027.
The EB-AX2 Graze Ein was originally a prototype mobile suit abandoned at Gjallarhorn's Alaya-Vijnana System experimental facility. When subordinate Ein Dalton was critically wounded in battle against Tekkadan and unable to recover through regenerative medicine, Gaelio Bauduin decided to have him undergo Alaya-Vijnana System surgery, making him the living core component of this Graze. For Ein, this mobile suit also served as his life support system. To better interface with the human brain, its limb frames were extended, ultimately transforming it into a colossal mobile suit standing over 20 meters tall, capable of incredibly agile movements thanks to the Alaya-Vijnana System.
The "FULL MECHANICS 1/100 Graze Ein" continues the design philosophy of previous Iron-Blooded Orphans FULL MECHANICS releases, recreating its in-anime frame and armor design at an imposing 25cm height. The head features an interlocking gimmick that deploys the mask to reveal the internal main camera, and various plastic stickers are included to display different main camera expressions.
Some joint parts have been improved with new molds, allowing for dynamic poses that capture its close-quarters combat specialization from the series. The drill kick mode for the foot parts, shoulder-mounted machine guns, wrist-mounted pile drivers, and thruster nozzles hidden in the calves can all deploy or transform without needing to swap parts. The spiral knuckle attack for the hands, however, is recreated by swapping in dedicated parts. Weaponry includes two dedicated large axes.
