The HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company has announced the latest addition to its "POKEPLA" Pokémon model kit series: the "Pokémon Plamo Collection Quick!! 30 Dragonair", slated for release in March 2027.

The Dragon Pokémon, Dragonair, is the evolved form of Dratini. Exuding a mystical aura, Dragonair is revered as a sacred Pokémon. Compared to its younger form, Dratini, it possesses a more elongated body, with the white fins on its head transforming into wing-like structures. Crystal-like blue orbs adorn its neck and tail, rumored to hold immense power capable of manipulating weather. Though it lacks wings, Dragonair can control the wind to soar through the sky. For this reason, farmers have worshipped Dragonair since ancient times, and offerings are always plentiful in the lakes where they reside.

The "Pokémon Plamo Collection Quick!! 30 Dragonair" is an ideal model kit for beginners, featuring a convenient design that allows parts to be removed by hand without the need for any tools. Despite having very few parts, it boasts excellent molding and precise color separation. Most seam lines are cleverly hidden on less conspicuous areas, making it easy to assemble a roughly 10cm tall Dragonair. The kit beautifully recreates its elegant, slender body and the adorable head adorned with small wing-like fins.
