Bandai's GASHAPON brand is expanding its popular "Machibouke" capsule toy series with a new collection from the renowned tokusatsu franchise, "GARO". The new "Machibouke: GARO Series" features four distinct figures, each priced at 400 JPY, and is slated for release on August 28, 2026.

"GARO" is a dark fantasy tokusatsu series that first aired on TV Tokyo in 2005. Created and directed by Keita Amemiya, with character designs by acclaimed sculptor Takayuki Takeya, the series centers on "Makai Knights" who battle demonic "Horrors" that prey on humanity, often alongside Makai Priests. Blending tokusatsu action, fantasy elements, martial arts, and mature themes, the franchise has spawned numerous TV dramas, films, anime, and spin-off works. The original protagonist, Kouga Saejima, and his iconic Golden Armor "Garo" remain fan favorites.

Each figure in the "Machibouke: GARO Series" stands approximately 4.3 to 5 cm tall. The lineup includes four formidable knights: "Golden Knight Garo (Kouga Saejima)," "Golden Knight Garo (Raiga Saejima)," "Golden Knight Garo (Taiga Saejima)," and "Silver Fanged Knight Zero." All figures boast a metallic paint finish and intricate detailing, with high-precision molding that faithfully reproduces the minute etchings on their armor, delivering impressive detail despite their small scale. Each knight is uniquely posed, wielding their signature weapon, capturing their individual personalities with both visual flair and charm.
