Danish brick-building brand LEGO is expanding its Star Wars lineup with 40897 “Darth Vader's LIGHTSABER,” a brick-built recreation of Darth Vader’s iconic lightsaber hilt. The 174-piece model measures approximately 9 inches (23 cm) long when completed and comes with a dedicated display stand and nameplate. From October 1 through October 7, 2026, the set will be offered as a limited gift with purchase of the LEGO Star Wars 75457 “Executor Super Star Destroyer”, while supplies last.
This display model scales Darth Vader’s lightsaber down to a desk-friendly size, recreating everything from its black grip and silver-gray mechanical components to the red activation button in LEGO bricks. The set also includes a black display stand and a “Darth Vader's LIGHTSABER” nameplate, allowing the completed hilt to be mounted horizontally. Its compact footprint makes it easy to showcase on a desk or inside a display cabinet. Tied to the launch of the 75457 “Executor Super Star Destroyer”, the promotion gives collectors who purchase Darth Vader’s flagship during the qualifying period a matching model of his signature weapon—pairing an Imperial capital ship with one of the galaxy’s most recognizable lightsabers.
