"♪My name is Toppema~ I am your servant♪"
Following the previously released Makao and Joma, BANPRESTO, the prize figure brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, is once again expanding its large-scale soft vinyl figure series, "Big SOFVIMATES," with a new item from "Crayon Shin-chan: Great Adventure in Henderland." Fans can look forward to the "Toppema Mappet" soft vinyl figure, set to be released as a prize item in January 2027.
"Crayon Shin-chan: Great Adventure in Henderland," released in 1996, is the fourth animated film in the Crayon Shin-chan series. The story follows Shin-chan as he gets separated from his friends during a field trip to the newly opened "Henderland" amusement park. There, he encounters the mysterious puppet Toppema Mappet and unexpectedly uncovers the secrets hidden behind the park.
This new Big SOFVIMATES Toppema Mappet stands approximately 17 cm (6.7 inches) tall, faithfully recreating Princess Mimori's puppet form from the film. The figure captures her dynamic pose with both arms spread wide. Intricate sculpting highlights details like the puppet's joints, skirt, and chest buttons. The character's on-screen colors are accurately reproduced with a matte, saturated paint finish, making it a delightful display piece. Furthermore, collectors can pair her with the previously released Makao and Joma and the concurrently announced Snowman to fully showcase the charm of "Great Adventure in Henderland"!
