While Marvel Studios has brought back several cast members from the original "X-Men" series to participate in "Avengers: Doomsday," which is reportedly set for release at the end of the year, the new "X-Men" film, slated to begin production next year, recently cast a new group of actors to take over the lead roles. This essentially makes it impossible for the original cast members to join the new iteration. However, one actress from the previous series might be a rare exception.

Lana Condor, who played the mutant Jubilee in the prequel film "X-Men: Apocalypse" from the original "X-Men" series, recently revealed to The Direct that she has spoken with the new "X-Men" production team about the possibility of returning as Jubilee. "I would love to come back to the Marvel Universe as Jubilee," Condor stated. "I’ve heard the fans, but I’ve never had any formal conversations with them [the studio]. But I have talked to the production team, and I told them, 'Hey, listen, I'm ten years older than the last time I played her. I'm wiser now, let me come back.' So, we'll see."
