Hot Toys, the globally renowned collectible toy manufacturer, has launched a new brand called HONŌ STUDIO, which brings together a multitude of talented designers from around the world. Their latest release is a new product based on Marvel's web-animated series, "Spider-Man: Your Friendly Neighborhood"—the "Spider-Man (Homemade Suit Blue Version)" 1/6 scale collectible action figure. Priced at $210 USD and limited to just 300 units worldwide, this figure is now available for exclusive pre-order on Sideshow's official website, with an estimated release in March 2027!
Standing approximately 29 cm tall, this "Spider-Man (Homemade Suit Blue Version)" figure vividly recreates Peter Parker's striking monochromatic homemade suit as he briefly soars through the skies in the animated series' opening. It's a fantastic homage to the early color separation techniques found in classic American comic printing! The figure appears to reuse the mold from the previous "Spider-Man (Homemade Suit)" but with a fresh, all-blue color scheme. Boasting 30 points of articulation, the suit's tights and sportswear are faithfully rendered in fabric materials. The variations in blue shades are achieved through heat-transferred spider logos and the clever application of different fabric textures.
The wrist web-shooters feature connecting tubes that extend to a utility pouch on the waist, and the figure includes wired web-slinging effect parts to help recreate dynamic aerial poses. Additional accessories include a black school backpack, multiple interchangeable hands, and two sets of interchangeable eye lenses. All these can be perfectly paired with the themed display base, which features a retro comic book cover background card, to showcase your friendly neighborhood hero swinging between buildings!
