Max Factory, the renowned Japanese figure manufacturer, is releasing the latest addition to its popular "figma" action figure series: "figma Leopard" from the hit anime "Gushing over Magical Girls." This new figure is slated for a December 2027 release!
"Gushing over Magical Girls" tells the story of Utena Hiiragi, a magical girl superfan who is unexpectedly coerced into becoming the evil minion "Magia Baiser." As she battles magical girls, she gradually discovers a twisted pleasure in "training" them. Eventually, she gives up all pretense, embracing her new role with abandon, aiming to become the supreme leader of the evil organization to freely tease (and "train") magical girls in this risqué yuri comedy. Leopard, whose real name is Kiwi Araga, is Utena's senior minion. Early in the story, she attacks Utena out of disdain but is ultimately defeated (and "trained") by Utena's electric shock, becoming her devoted fangirl and first ally.
Standing approximately 13.5 cm tall, the "figma Leopard" figure is based on her initial evil minion form, characterized by a green military uniform. It faithfully recreates her revealing design, which accentuates her hip curves. Peeking from below, collectors will note the sculptor's meticulous attention to detail, even capturing the breast curves hidden beneath the uniform. Her shoes feature a glossy finish, replicating their in-show texture. The figure includes three face plates: a grinning "Standard Face," a mischievous "Smiling Face," and a malevolent "Inciting Face," all delicately reproducing Leopard's distinctive lack of eye highlights. Furthermore, the "Standard Face" features articulated eyeballs, allowing for a wide range of gazes using the included adjustment tool! Accessories include "interchangeable arms" to recreate her hands-in-sleeves pose, and a "gun" that serves as the trigger for her full-burst attack, all compatible with the four pairs of interchangeable hands for dynamic posing!
▼Be sure to display her alongside the recently opened pre-order for "figma Magia Baiser"!
