Bandai is celebrating the 25th anniversary of "Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger" with the Juoken -MEMORIAL EDITION-, a premium role-play collectible aimed at adult fans. The Gaorangers’ signature weapon has been recreated at an impressive 19 inches (48 cm) long and comes with five Power Animal jewels that activate full-color LED effects and roaring sounds. Priced at 25,300 yen including tax, the Juoken is scheduled for release in December 2026.
Rather than simply scaling up the previous DX toy, Bandai completely reworked the Juoken’s design. Updates include a blade profile and central jewel section that more closely match the on-screen prop. At approximately 19 inches long, it also feels much closer to the weapon’s proportions when wielded by the Gaorangers in the series.
The set includes five jewels representing the team’s Power Animals. Inserting a jewel activates the Juoken’s full-color LED, while selecting one of the Gaorangers produces the corresponding light color and Power Animal roar. The collectible also features three BGM tracks from the show, allowing fans to play the music while combining the jewels with the weapon’s light and sound effects for a more complete role-play experience.
