BANDAI is bringing back a piece of SD Gundam history with the "SD Gundam Commando Wars Mission Box1 G-ARMS" card collection set. Reimagining the original G-ARMS Carddass series released in 1990, the collection features a newly curated lineup of characters from the first two waves. All 40 cards receive premium prism-foil finishes and gold foil stamping, while the set also includes an eight-page booklet and a dedicated storage box. Priced at approximately NT$1,450, the set is scheduled for release in December 2026.

"SD Gundam Commando Wars" introduced another branch of the SD Gundam universe following "SD Sengokuden" and "SD Gundam Gaiden." The G-ARMS storyline follows a unit led by Command Gundam as it battles the Zatarion Empire. This set draws from the first two Carddass waves, retaining the look and feel of the original illustrations and layouts while completely reworking the card designs. Rather than simply reprinting the vintage cards, BANDAI has upgraded all 40 with reflective prism effects and gold foil stamping. Command Gundam, V Command Gundam, and the other G-ARMS members all receive the premium treatment. Koji Yokoi, one of the original series illustrators, has also returned to create brand-new card artwork for the collection, giving fans fresh illustrations to collect alongside the classics.
