Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya has announced the latest character to join its "Arcanadea" bishoujo plastic model kit series, which blends fantasy and sci-fi elements. The new character, Enyl, is slated for release in March 2027.
The new character, Enyl, is a demon-type DEARS designed by illustrator Nidy-2D-. She is the twin sister of another DEARS, Vanil, and both are counted among the demon race's strongest "Seven Demon Spears." While Vanil charges headfirst into battle, Enyl provides calm support from the rear. She can also fight alongside the dog-type familiars Kuro and Shiro, which they co-own, combining with them into a powerful battle form. Enyl typically speaks in a languid tone and possesses a very approachable personality, often causing her sister, a self-proclaimed siscon, to lose all composure.
The "Arcanadea Enyl" kit is thoroughly supervised by Nidy-2D-, meticulously recreating Enyl's distinctive design, from her detailed outfit to her voluptuous figure. Utilizing precision molding and multi-colored parts, the kit captures rich details such as knit patterns on her clothing. The base body features flexible articulation, and the kit includes four pre-painted face parts along with a total of 11 interchangeable hand parts.
In her normal form, Enyl's clothing parts are designed with segmented structures to minimize visible seams. The front of her skirt features an articulated mechanism that doesn't impede leg movement, and both her scarf and skirt can be freely attached or removed. Her extensive articulation includes movable axes for her twin braided hair, double-jointed elbows, movable wrist sleeves, a newly structured hip joint, and pull-out knee joints, allowing for a wide range of sexy and cute poses.
The product also includes the dog-type XenoAlma familiar "Shiro," originally belonging to Vanil. In addition to its own flexible articulation, Shiro can disassemble into various weapon parts to combine with Enyl for her battle form. In this combined state, Shiro transforms into movable twin wings, armor, a long sword, and a giant arm, which attach to various points on Enyl's body. The large arm boasts highly articulated fingers. Furthermore, by combining with the separately sold "Vanil" kit's Kuro, collectors can create a powerful form equipped with giant arms on both sides.
