The TAMASHII NATIONS collectors division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company has announced that the popular "Kamen Rider Faiz" from "Kamen Rider 555" will be re-released in December 2026. This figure is part of the "S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou" series, which sculpts figures starting from the skeletal structure to accurately reproduce the physique of the suit actors who portray these special effects heroes.
Kamen Rider Faiz is the transformed state of protagonist Takumi Inui, utilizing the "Gear" combat-enhanced suit developed by Smart Brain. Red Photon Blood flows throughout the suit's Photon Frame, and only an Orphnoch capable of controlling this Photon Blood is qualified to transform. Its most iconic finishing move is the "Crimson Smash" kick, which injects Photon Blood into the leg-mounted Faiz Pointer. While Faiz's default output is limited for safety, it boasts superior weapon expandability and can temporarily unleash its full power by switching to Accel Form.
The "S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Faiz" meticulously recreates the robust physique of suit actor Seiji Takaiwa, offering a more realistic representation compared to the leaner proportions of previous S.H.Figuarts versions. Precise sculpting captures details like the headlight-like compound eyes, the silver armor, and the intricate mechanical structure of the belt. Vibrant colors are applied to reproduce the metallic texture of the armor and the vivid red Photon Blood flowing across the entire body.
The overall articulation inherits the techniques cultivated through the S.H.Figuarts series, featuring flexible joints in the neck, torso, and limbs, allowing for dynamic punching and kicking poses. The shoulder armor, which was previously fixed to the arms, now adopts a new design connected to the body, enabling more natural arm movements. The ankle armor is made of soft material to minimize interference with articulation.
For accessories, both the Faiz Phone, Faiz Pointer, and Faiz Shot come in two sizes: one for attachment to the belt and one for handheld use. This allows for various weapon configurations, including the Phone Blaster. The belt-mounted Faiz Phone also features a deployable mechanism, allowing collectors to recreate the signature crouching pose during the "EXCEED CHARGE" finishing move.
