Bandai's Gashapon capsule toy brand is expanding its premium Gashapon machine line, "PREMIUM GASHAPON," with a new product themed after the popular trading card game "ONE PIECE CARD GAME." The "ONE PIECE CARD GAME Figure Collection 2" capsule toy is priced at 1,000 JPY per capsule and is scheduled for release in the third week of September 2026.
The "ONE PIECE CARD GAME Figure Collection" series specializes in bringing popular card illustrations to three-dimensional life. The previous first wave, featuring an alternate art Luffy card illustration, was incredibly impressive and beloved by many fans! For "ONE PIECE CARD GAME Figure Collection 2," the spotlight is on the Secret Rare card OP05-119 SEC Monkey D. Luffy from the "Awakening of the New Era [OP-05]" booster pack. This figure meticulously recreates Luffy in his Gear Five form as depicted in the card art. The exaggerated perspective from the illustration is faithfully reproduced with a dynamic front-to-back scaling, and both his shirt and the swirling smoke around his upper body are meticulously detailed, capturing their dynamic movement. The outer frame, made of acrylic, is printed with card details like power and cost, while the backdrop features the sky from the Battle of Onigashima illustration, making for an incredibly impactful display! This release offers three distinct visual styles: Normal, Metallic, and Clear. Each texture looks absolutely stunning!
