Bandai Gashapon's popular "Machibouke" (Waiting) series is expanding its lineup with a new collection featuring characters from the hit anime "Tokyo Ghoul"! The "Tokyo Ghoul Machibouke" capsule toys will retail for 400 JPY per play and are slated for release in the second week of September 2026.
This "Tokyo Ghoul Machibouke" series immortalizes beloved characters from the show in the signature Q-style "waiting" pose, depicted with their knees hugged close! The capsule toy lineup includes four distinct figures: Ken Kaneki, Touka Kirishima, Rize Kamishiro, and Juuzou Suzuya. Kaneki is sculpted in his iconic awakened form from episode 8 of the anime; Touka appears in her casual attire from episode 2; Rize is captured in her look from her date with Kaneki; and Juuzou is featured in his debut appearance, complete with the visible stitches on his hand! Standing approximately 4 cm tall, each figure meticulously recreates the characters' in-show appearances. The stark contrast between their adorable waiting poses and the series' dark tone creates an overwhelming sense of cuteness. These pitifully waiting figures, lined up, are incredibly heartwarming and we can't wait for more characters to join the waiting game!
