BANDAI SPIRITS' BANPRESTO prize figure brand is launching the latest entry in its "BANPRE KUJI PREMIUM" lottery series, featuring "Crocodile" from the popular anime "One Piece." This new figure is slated for release on January 30, 2027!
Crocodile was the first Warlord of the Sea that Luffy encountered, a Logia-type Sand-Sand Fruit user. He secretly orchestrated the civil war in the Alabasta Kingdom through his secret organization, Baroque Works, aiming to overthrow the nation and seize the Ancient Weapon Pluton, which he believed to be hidden there. After his defeat by Luffy, he was stripped of his Warlord title and imprisoned in Impel Down. During the Impel Down Arc, he formed a temporary escape alliance with Emporio Ivankov and Luffy, eventually breaking into Marineford during the Summit War. Following the war, he joined forces with Dracule Mihawk and Buggy the Clown to establish the Cross Guild, now operating in the New World.
The "BANPRE KUJI PREMIUM" series, exclusively available at Japanese arcades, offers a guaranteed prize with every draw. Unlike the Ichiban Kuji line, this series focuses on high-quality character figures with distinct color variations or subtle sculpting differences. This release features three prize tiers, each with unique paint applications and facial expressions: the A Prize Brush Paint Version, the B Prize Anime Color Version, and the C Prize Metallic Color Version. All three figures stand approximately 30 cm tall, meticulously capturing the imposing presence of the Desert King. From the intricate textures of his cloak to the detailed engravings on his signature golden hook and the gems on his hand, every detail is faithfully reproduced. Each prize also boasts a different expression: the A Prize features a defiant raised eyebrow, the B Prize a confident and imposing gaze, and the C Prize a fierce battle-ready look. Given their large scale and intricate detail, each draw for these premium figures comes with a hefty price tag of 10,000 JPY (tax included)!
