Square Enix Japan has announced the upcoming release of their latest box toy product, the "-FINAL FANTASY Series- Mini Melody TV," based on their popular video game series "FINAL FANTASY." It is slated for release on January 29, 2027.
The "-FINAL FANTASY Series- Mini Melody TV" is a super retro mini-toy designed to evoke nostalgia for the early days of the "FINAL FANTASY" series. This collection features six classic titles from "FINAL FANTASY" I through VI, originally released between 1987 and 1994 on the Nintendo Famicom and Super Famicom. Each mini CRT-style television unit includes a PET film print displaying iconic game screens, transporting collectors back to the analog signal era of AV cables. Furthermore, pressing a button on the mini TV makes the screen light up and plays classic melodies from each game, such as the "Opening Theme" from "FINAL FANTASY" and "Eternal Wind" from "FINAL FANTASY III."
