The Nintendo Museum in Kyoto, Japan, has released another collectible inspired by the venue itself. Rather than simply shrinking down a Game Boy Pocket, Nintendo recreated the museum’s Game Boy Pocket-themed umbrella stands as miniature charms. Available in gray, red, green, and yellow, each version includes number stickers for customization. The charms went on sale September 2, 2026, exclusively at the museum’s BONUS STAGE shop. Nintendo did not announce pricing.

What makes this collectible so clever is its two-step transformation. The Nintendo Museum first turned the Game Boy Pocket into an umbrella stand, then miniaturized that fixture as a souvenir charm. While the familiar handheld silhouette remains instantly recognizable, the design commemorates something visitors can only experience inside the museum. That gives it far more Nintendo Museum flavor than another straightforward miniature console replica.

The lineup comes in gray, red, green, and yellow. Every charm includes a sheet of number stickers, carrying over the numbered design of the museum’s actual umbrella stands. Collectors can recreate the number they used during their visit or personalize the charm with a birthday, lucky number, or any combination they choose.
