GTA 5's Infamous Unfinished Skyscraper Finally Complete After 13 Years; Rockstar Launches Official NoPixel V RP Server Ahead of GTA 6

Even with "Grand Theft Auto VI" still two months away, Rockstar Games has launched a brand-new role-playing server, "NoPixel V," for "Grand Theft Auto Online." This RP experience is confirmed to receive official support and can even be launched directly through the Rockstar Games Launcher, eliminating the need for players to install additional third-party platforms or tools.

For years, NoPixel has stood as one of the most iconic RP communities within "Grand Theft Auto V," allowing players to embody diverse roles such as police officers, criminals, and business owners in Los Santos. Rockstar has increasingly embraced this player culture in recent years. Following their 2023 acquisition of Cfx.re, the team behind the FiveM modding platform, the company is now directly providing official support for NoPixel V. This means players can launch the server directly from the Rockstar Games Launcher, bypassing the need for external third-party platforms.

For veteran players, the most talked-about change in NoPixel V is undoubtedly the long-awaited completion of the "never-ending" Mile High Club. This skyscraper, located in downtown Los Santos, has remained under construction since the launch of "Grand Theft Auto V." Now, after 13 years, it has officially been completed within NoPixel V and transformed into an accessible hotel and casino for players.

In addition, NoPixel V features a revamped character customization system, enhanced graphics, and numerous quality-of-life improvements. Rockstar released the official trailer on September 1, 2026, with a closed beta set to kick off on September 8. The initial wave of invitations will extend to approximately 450 content creators and veteran RP players.

Concurrently, an official Twitch Drops event will run from September 8 to 30. Viewers watching NoPixel V streams can earn up to GTA$1.5 million in-game cash and the Burger Shot Tracksuit outfit. Players who don't secure beta access will not be impacted, as the existing NoPixel Public and NoPixel 4.0 servers will continue to operate.

Currently, Rockstar has not yet revealed specific plans for the next generation of "GTA Online," nor has it confirmed whether NoPixel will create a dedicated RP server for "Grand Theft Auto VI." However, with this collaboration evolving from community support to official promotion and platform integration, external observers are paying closer attention to whether RP will become a significant direction for the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise in its next era.
