Bandai Hobby, the model kit brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, has officially announced the latest addition to its fantasy-themed "30 MINUTES FANTASY" (30MF) model kit series: the "Dark Neville Archknight". This new kit is slated for release in January 2027.
The "30 MINUTES FANTASY" series builds upon the highly acclaimed "30 MINUTES" concept, offering easy assembly, a straightforward structure, and limitless customization potential within a fantasy world setting. Kits in the line feature a highly articulated "Silhouette" base body, designed for human-like flexibility. This core body is equipped with 3mm expansion ports across various sections, allowing builders to easily swap out and attach different job-specific armor and equipment. This system enables characters to "Job Change" from basic to advanced classes as the product line expands, much like an RPG progression system.
The new CLASS V "Dark Neville Archknight" represents a formidable entity capable of wielding dark powers, serving as a counterpart to the "Superior Arch Knight". This kit is based on the "Superior Arch Knight" design but features significant modifications. Its striking armor, longsword, and shield parts are now cast in multiple shades of purple molded plastic. The kit also includes a redesigned dark-attribute Element Core for the chest and a newly sculpted helmet, all contributing to its menacing, dark-infused aesthetic.
The kit utilizes the same "Silhouette" base body parts as the "Liber Knight", boasting multi-axis articulation in the limbs, chest, waist, and neck. This advanced articulation allows for a wide range of dynamic and natural poses, including running, heroic landings, high kneeling, and even cross-legged sitting. Notably, the shoulder and waist armor are not directly attached to the main body but connect via movable joints on the back, minimizing interference and maximizing the range of motion for the limbs. The "Silhouette" body also features numerous standard 3mm connection points and expansion rings on the limbs for extensive customization.
