BANDAI HOBBY, a model kit brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, has officially announced the latest addition to its fantasy-themed "30 MINUTES FANTASY" (30MF) model kit series: the "Necross Mephisto", slated for release in February 2027.
The "30 MINUTES FANTASY" series is a new line of model kits centered around various fantasy world classes. Inheriting the core features of the 30 MINUTES brand – easy assembly, simple structure, and infinite customization – these kits allow builders to create highly articulated base bodies with human-like flexibility. Utilizing 3mm expansion ports across the body, different class-specific armor parts can be swapped on. As the product lineup expands, collectors can upgrade their characters from beginner to advanced classes, much like a job change system in an RPG, continuously strengthening their figures.
The all-new CLASS III job, "Necross Mephisto", is a being that commands dark powers, using dark crystal bullets to corrupt everything in its path. The kit's base body shares parts with the "Reboot Knight", featuring multi-axis articulation in the limbs, chest, waist, and neck. This design allows for dynamic and natural poses such as running, heroic landings, high kneeling, and even sitting cross-legged. The base body also includes numerous standard 3mm connection ports and circular expansion joints on the limbs.
Once the skull-themed armor and the tattered cape on the shoulders and back are attached to the base body, the imposing "Necross Mephisto" is complete. Its weaponry includes a large staff topped with a clear crystal sphere, which can be held in hand. The kit also comes with a crystal sphere display base, crystal bullet effect parts, and clear purple molded hand parts, allowing collectors to recreate the devastating appearance of the Necross Mephisto as it wields its dark powers.
