Japanese clockmaker SEIKO is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Ultraman franchise with the “Ultraman 60th Anniversary Alarm Clock.” This bedside clock transforms the original Ultraman into your personal morning wake-up hero, complete with a Color Timer that changes from green to flashing red when the alarm sounds. Limited to 2,078 units worldwide, it is priced at 16,500 yen including tax and went on sale September 18, 2026.

The clock features a bust-style Ultraman design with a metallic silver-and-red finish and an aluminum dial on the front. Around back, he wears a removable red cape inspired by the six Ultra Brothers’ Brothers’ Mantle, allowing collectors to display him with or without it for a more classic original Ultraman look. The real fun, however, begins with the morning wake-up sequence. When the alarm activates, the Color Timer lights up green as Ultraman tells you to wake up. The familiar warning tone then kicks in as the timer begins flashing red, signaling that time is running out. Once you switch off the alarm, Ultraman wraps up the mission with a triumphant “Schwatch!”

Only 2,078 units will be produced worldwide, with 1,798 allocated to the Japanese market. Each clock also comes with an exclusive Ultraman 60th anniversary commemorative card bearing an individual serial number. Beyond its alarm functions, the Brothers’ Mantle-equipped design makes it look like Ultraman is standing guard on your desk, making sure you never oversleep again.
