Bandai Spirits' Tamashii Nations, under its S.H.Figuarts action figure brand, has officially unveiled a new product from the popular anime series "Naruto Shippuden": the Hashirama Senju -Edo Tensei- action figure. This highly anticipated release is priced at 9,900 JPY and is slated for a March 2027 launch.
Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village, is revered as the "God of Shinobi" throughout the ninja world. He, alongside Madara Uchiha, brought an end to the Warring States Period and established the shinobi village system. Hashirama possessed the unique Wood Style Jutsu and Sage Mode, allowing him to instantly heal wounds with hand signs. His most powerful technique, the True Several Thousand Hands, famously defeated Madara while he was controlling the Nine-Tails. Despite his boisterous personality, Hashirama deeply yearned for peace and is considered the reincarnation of Asura Ōtsutsuki, son of the Sage of Six Paths.
Hashirama, who made a subtle appearance in the pre-order announcement for the previously released "Minato Namikaze [Nine-Tails Chakra Mode] -The Flash of Bonds That Cuts Through Darkness-," is now officially revealed! This S.H.Figuarts Hashirama Senju -Edo Tensei- figure stands approximately 16.5 cm tall. It faithfully recreates his appearance from the Fourth Great Ninja War, where he was resurrected via Edo Tensei. The sculpt meticulously captures the textures and battle-worn scratches on his armor, along with the intricate cracking details on his resurrected face. His long hair appears to feature articulation at the base of the neck, while the armor on his waist and shoulders includes hinged joints, designed to minimize interference with the figure's range of motion.
Accessories include four pairs of interchangeable hands, four alternate face plates (including one for his Sage Mode appearance), and an additional hair sculpt depicting his hair flowing upwards. These allow collectors to recreate various dynamic poses from the series, leveraging the figure's full range of articulation. Furthermore, he can be displayed alongside the "Madara Uchiha -The Legend of the Lonesome Shadow Hidden in Darkness-" figure to recreate their epic rival battles! Continuing a series tradition, this release also includes an alternate face plate for Naruto, which can be paired with the previously released "Naruto Uzumaki -The Power of Bonds Carrying Countless Thoughts-" to recreate iconic scenes.
