Andrew Garfield, known for starring in "The Amazing Spider-Man" series, recently attended the premiere of his new film. During the event, he was asked about the box office performance of Tom Holland's "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and whether he would return as Spider-Man in a future "Avengers" installment.

Addressing the phenomenal success of "Spider-Man: No Way Home" in the North American market, Garfield admitted he actually hasn't seen the film yet and, as such, hasn't specifically reached out to Holland.
"I don't want to be disingenuous and pretend I've seen it," he stated. "It's obviously an amazing thing that the movie is making money and people are going to see it. But I'll contact him after I watch 'Spider-Man: No Way Home,' I'm really looking forward to seeing it."
Garfield also revealed he hasn't yet seen Holland's work on another project. "Once I see his completed work, I'll text him," he said.
Despite not having seen it, Garfield wasn't surprised by the success of "Spider-Man: No Way Home." He believes the key to Spider-Man's enduring popularity lies in the character's profound relatability.
"Everyone feels connected to him; he belongs to everyone. He's kind, righteous, ordinary, yet simultaneously extraordinary, just like all of us. It's hard not to see yourself in the character," he explained.
As for donning the Spider-suit once more, Garfield again denied he would appear in a future "Avengers" film, simply responding, "I am not," when directly asked about his involvement.
Given his past denials regarding his appearance in "Spider-Man: No Way Home" only to make a surprise return, a reporter reminded him of his "unreliable" track record. Garfield merely smiled, leaving the outcome ambiguous: "I think you'll all find out eventually, no matter what the answer is."
