Japanese model kit manufacturer Kotobukiya has announced the latest addition to its original model kit series, "Megalomaria Unlimited Universe," with the upcoming release of "Wreckage Hunter," slated for January 2027.

In the lore of "Megalomaria Unlimited Universe," the "Wreckage Hunter" is a mysterious "Another" that emerges from the Wreckage, an isolated zone where machine debris accumulates, relentlessly pursuing Maria Kagaribi. This model kit masterfully blends parts from previous releases like "Principal" (Sword Dancer) and "Seeker," redesigning them into a grotesque, alien-like mechanical body. The "Wreckage Hunter" also features a cross-series collaboration, incorporating the "BANDIT WHEEL" from the "HEXA GEAR" series as its formidable vehicle, showcasing an exciting intersection of both universes.

The "Wreckage Hunter" figure itself is constructed with silver and gray molded parts, meticulously detailing its mechanical physique. Its human-like face features achromatic tampography, while the vivid red, glowing eyes create an unsettling and terrifying presence. The eyes are articulated, allowing collectors to adjust the gaze using an included specialized tool. Furthermore, UV printing technology is employed to achieve intricate iris detailing, with a clear coating on the eyeball surface mimicking the glossy texture of glass.

The main body boasts approximately 50 points of articulation, including highly flexible shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee joints, enabling the figure to strike incredibly dynamic and lifelike poses. A tail part, identical in specification to the "CREEPVENOM" from "HEXA GEAR ALTERNATIVE SNEAK SIGHT," is mounted on its back. This tail contains a flexible metal wire structure, allowing it to twist and turn in multiple directions, enabling the blade at its tip to be freely wielded. The tail can also be detached and used as a handheld whip.

The impressively designed heavy motorcycle, "BANDIT WHEEL," retains its original molded color. It is meticulously assembled from precisely sculpted parts, including wheels, exhaust pipes, handlebars, and various pipelines. Not only can it be posed with the "Wreckage Hunter" for high-speed riding scenes, but it also features a transformation mechanism into an artillery mode, deploying two large cannons.
