The renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys has unveiled its latest offering from the highly anticipated Marvel superhero film, "Avengers: Doomsday": the 1/6 scale collectible figure of Thor. This release will be available in both a regular edition and a deluxe version, with pricing and release dates to be announced soon!
"Avengers: Doomsday" marks the fifth installment in the "Avengers" series, slated for release on December 18, 2026, in the United States. The film is set to feature a significant return of original Avengers characters, alongside the integration of the X-Men and Fantastic Four. Most notably, the movie will reunite the original "Big Three" of the Avengers: Chris Evans, who previously portrayed Captain America; Robert Downey Jr., who famously played Iron Man; and Chris Hemsworth, reprising his role as Thor. Fans are eagerly anticipating the sparks that will fly with their reunion on screen!
The "Hot Toys Thor (Deluxe Version)" 1/6 scale collectible figure stands approximately 32 cm tall. In addition to the regular edition's features, which include a poseable cape, LED light-up function in the torso, and light-up Stormbreaker and Mjolnir, the deluxe version boasts a special thematic diorama base and extra lightning effects. This allows the God of Thunder to be displayed in an even more impactful and electrifying pose. The base continues the theme of the "Avengers: Doomsday" deluxe series, depicting a damaged Sentinel robot head. This particular design appears split down the middle, featuring USB-powered LED light-up functions and dynamic electrical current effects that convey immense power. Furthermore, the deluxe version includes four additional lightning effect parts that can be freely attached to the figure, allowing collectors to recreate the thrilling confrontation with Doctor Doom as seen in the movie's trailer!
