Bushiroad Creative, the anime and manga merchandise distributor under Japanese entertainment company Bushiroad Inc., is rolling out the latest additions to its popular Q-style blind box figure series, "PalVerse." The newest collection hails from the anime "Milky Subway" and is titled "PalVerse Milky Subway." This set features six unique figures, priced at 1,210 JPY (tax included) per blind box, or 7,260 JPY (tax included) for the complete collection. Fans can look forward to their release on February 26, 2027!
"Milky Subway," which premiered in July 2025 on YouTube with multilingual broadcasts, quickly became a hot topic. This original 3D anime is the brainchild of independent animator Yohei Kameyama, who single-handedly handled its direction, scriptwriting, design, and production. The series is a continuation of his highly acclaimed graduation project, "Milky Highway." Each episode, clocking in at around three and a half minutes, follows augmented human Chiharu and cyborg Makina—who committed offenses like speeding in the previous installment—as they perform community service cleaning a derelict train. They're joined by four other distinct criminals, but their routine task takes a wild turn when the supposedly decommissioned space train unexpectedly departs the platform and hurtles into the cosmos for unknown reasons, kicking off a thrilling galactic adventure!
Each figure in the "PalVerse Milky Subway" collection stands approximately 9cm tall. The set includes all six criminals tasked with cleaning the train: Chiharu, Makina, Akane, Tetta, Cote, and Max. Every character is sculpted in a dynamic pose that perfectly captures their individual personality. While it's a slight shame that the equally important police officer Ryoko isn't included, this collection still offers immense value for fans looking to complete their crew!
